Pirate disco at Katrina's house last night, or Disko as it was written on the banner she had hung. I have no idea how Lee Berg got all of his sound equipment up the ladder-like stairs to the loft of Katrina's barn but it was very impressive.
Bethany was there, with a friend of hers from high school, I believe her name was Megan, and we were all wallflowers together. Well, I suppose we would have been if anyone had really started dancing before nine, while most of our wallflowering was at about quarter-to-eight. We played a few rounds of twister than went outside and took turns playing on the swing. After a little while Bethany led us over to the pond on the other side of the yard and we sat down in the hammock. All three of us. Yes, quite brilliant. When Megan sat up to pet Katrina's dog the hammock swung, one of the knots holding it to the tree snapped, and we all fell. It unfortunately wasn't the priority to feel guilty about breaking the hammock though, because the wooden bar that held it spread had gotten it's revenge on my head. By the time we got up to the house I had a huge bump, and I ended up having to leave early. No concussion though, just the precourser to todays bruise.
I wonder what the theme for the next one will be? She's already had Soviet, Arabic, and Pirate ones. I'm not sure if she's already done the Ninja one she was planning or not.
