Everything in caps can clearly be heard throughout the floor on Fairgrove where Jannet, Rita-Anne and Terry live, in spite of the door being closed. The lower-case words are normal speaking volume

Hob finishes toweling off. Between the hotshower, tomato juice and his atomizer, he's manages to remove most the stink from himself. It's replaced with the scent of rue and licorice. He's just finished dressing when he hears the shouts. Frowning, he ties off his remaining boot and heads towards the ruckus. Raising a hand, he pounds three times on the door.
With an effort, Rita-Anne unclenches her hockey stick, and walks toward the door.
"Maybe we should shout about this later," she says to Terry. His response is "You'd better believe we will!"
She takes a deep breath, partly to calm down, partly to remind her face how to move again, and opens the door.
"Oh. Uh... Hi Hob. Ummm... I guess we were being slightly loud... if we includes all the girls in the room... Do you want to come in?" She looks down at the still fuming dinosaur.
Gee... I didn't know Terry could turn that colour red... Suddenly, she's scared for Hob's life in case her normally placid friend decides to take a disliking for anyone who was involved in the dragon fight.
Hob is still frowning, glowering at Terry almost. He spits out the words of King Harry as violently as King Harry might upon the eve of battle.
"And gentlemen in England now abed, Shall think themselves accurs'd they were not here, And hold their manhoods cheap while any speaks That fought with us upon Saint Crispin's day."
With that, he rounds on Rita-Anne. "There never was a merry world since the fairies left off dancing, and the Parson left conjuring." Hob points towards the dinosaur, as if trying to explain something to Rita-Anne about Terry. "One man in a thousand, Solomon says, will stand as close as a brother."
"Come, Christian hearts, rejoyce!" he entreats both of them.
Terry looks like he's about to reply, probably with something that's sappy and mushy and all love-festy, when he sees something behind Hob.
...Almost to his door he decided to stop in and say thanks to Peri again for helping him out earlier when he heard the yelling down the hall and decided to go investigate. "Everything ok?" Jasper asks once he gets to the doorway.
Terry tears his beak out of Rita-Anne’s hands and looks at Jasper. “You... You’re that Jasper fellow who sealed that dragon’s mouth shut, aren’t you? Without any armor or weapons other than a vat of glue?” The idea that Jasper should be in the hospital wing, ironically, doesn't enter Terry's mind.
