woe is me
for it is spring!
okay, not because it is spring. but because it is 70 degrees out and I have to sit in my office and do some seriously mind numbing pain inducing work on the web calendar while all the fancy all girls schoolers are outside sunning themselves.
I WANT TO BE OUTSIDE! I want to lay around and read and laugh with my friends the way we did at mssm when the world finally thawed and it was finally sunny. take a picnic up to the fields in the frida bag. and lay around. and sun. or like the first day at earlham, when everyone is on the heart, just soaking it up. appreciating the end of winter, finally, and anticipating the arrival of summer -- and all that comes before it (can we say procrastination and sunburns!?)!!!
*sigh*
I'll have to settle for walking home from the train station, and sitting on my porch for a few when I get there, even though it's sure to be much cooler by then.
I hope everyone who has this lovely weather is ENJOYING IT.
