NEW OFFICE!
here is the very first post from my VERY OWN office. I am pretty excited about it. I have a rolly chair and my own new fancy monitor with with an anti glare shield and privacy thinggy. I am all dusty though, cause I had to do some cleaning. now I should really get settled and get to work.

NEW OFFICE! I will miss all the imacs, but it's nice to have my OWN SPACE. there are extra chairs if you would like to come and sit with me while I work. feel free.

ALSO.
today I got to meet the LS (that's Lower School) Spanish teacher who went to Earlham! he knew howard! but he was also a german major -- so he's one of THOSE language teachers who speaks a hundred fifty million languages and all beautifully! as soon as I told him I was an EC grad he was EXCITED and then a spanish major and he was all NO ME DIGAS! and I was excited. we're going to placticar en espanol so I can practicar...so excellent. he also said I can visit his classes any time I'd like! oh! work is so pleasant today!

dear earlham class of really young (um, what are the first years by now, the class of 11? or 12? oh dear.), I pretty much hate you because you got to read neruda for your summer reading and hear caroline higgins talk and I had to read stupid Mill's On stupid boring liberty! okay, so it could definately have been worse and it was an important book I'm sure for some reason. but seriously, Neruda!?! I am so jealous.
