i think you should do the one month. youve got the oppurtunity to do it now and you might not have it again. plus if with everything included its only that much money its one hell of a deal, i paid almost 7grand to be here right now. if everyone else still wants to go to japan next summer thats not a problem, if you go for the month then you can still hang out with them. i do understand what dave is saying though, and we all are getting to the point in our lives where we cant just drop a few grand every summer for a vacation. i feel bad because i've never been able to go to japan on a vacation just for fun with the group. i just don't have the time or the money, what little money i make working goes to paying for school and the absurd amount in student loans that i've already taken out. i just think you'd get more out of the experience if you went to study, and by a lot more i don't mean just japanese. thre is more that people who look at you for a job think when they see study abroad, there's the (i guess, this is what ive been told) personality and what not that comes with a person that has lived on there own in a different country and had to depend on themselves.

whatever you do, like kevin said is your choice, and you know that i love it here just as much as you do, so whatever you do itll be okay. just dave is right too though, after a while we have to save what we have, being a real adult is going to suck, but we can't avoid it. >.<
