Giving Til It Hurts
For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home.
A year ago I took my first tentative footsteps into the Adam Lambert(/Kris Allen) fandom, and one of the first things that just blew me away was the generosity his fans showed in donating for Haiti, Donorschoose.org, and several other worthy causes. Today, an email went out to Adam's official fan club (of which I am a member) letting us know that Adam had set a goal to raise $29,000 by January 29th for his 29th birthday.
The charity of his choice this time around?

The email I recieved has a timestamp of 6:15 pm, or, approximately seven hours ago.
THE TOTAL RAISED SO FAR IS ALREADY OVER $36 000
Adam tweeted about an hour ago, officially raising the challenge to the goal a lot of his fans started tossing around from the moment we heard about the project -- $290 000.
