I feel vaguely like I have some kind of fandom hangover or something.

I got high on SQUEE and CAPLOCKS last night, and don't know if I can be held completely responsible for my actions...

It's like waking up with a tattoo or a a ring or something, except that I woke up and I have a new comm and some new friends and quite possibly a reputation...

I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess you're talking about ontd_ai?? And I have to say, how? I did join and I do a lot of lurking but I have to say that place terrifies me as far as participation. There's just so many people and they respond so quickly and IDK it's just intimidating. Also it makes me a feel a bit old! :)

I joined ontd_aia few weeks back, although I do mostly lurk - occasionally I comment because I know I can pretty much say whatever random squee/thought comes to mind without judgement. I was actually talking about beepxbeepxbeepx, though, which is the Kradam tinhat comm...

Hmmm, okay I totally didn't even know of the existence of that one, but it looks hilarious and fun. I clicked to join, so I guess we'll see? I'm guessing they'll look at lack of Kradam on my actual journal and be all ??? but who knows. Mostly I just read lots and lots (and lots) of fic. :)

Don't worry, I did read their entire Noob post. In general I'm pretty low drama and I don't know where I actually fall on the Tin-Hat scale :) but I'm not too easily offended so I think I'm good. Probably my hardest thing is actually not being too much of a lurker but I'm working on it!
