What up thugs,
I am home in the Rhode Izland rocking out to the good life. It took 7.5 hours to get home due to the insane snow in Vermont and the lack of plowing, sanding, or salting on the roads. I will not lie, I was scared shitless going about 25-30 through Vermont not being able to see a damn thing and randomly sliding. Luckily Ellie was there to keep me going and hold my hand (literaly) through it. I had to stop a bunch of times to get the ice out of my windshield wipers because it wasn't helping the whole wiping of the windshield process. None of the rest stops were plowed, so I had to pretend I was in a mack truck and bust through...it was insanity!
Home has been sweet. Lots of chilling with the family and watching Michael bust out some trumpet skillz. There has also been a ton of eating which is definetly a big change from my usual red bull, coffee, and pop tart diet. Food is good, indeed.
In other news, Matt Bonner is home from Iraq/California and has requested me to call him which I probably will tomorrow or soon this week. I haven't talked to him in years. It should be intersting to catch up and see how the boy I swooned over for over half of my life has grown up.
Tomorrow I must go to the crazy doctor and then get my brotha a christmas present since we are going together on Wed. to get crap for the 'rents. I also need to pick up an old check at Tax Rite that has been sitting there collecting dust and needs my loving. I must do all of this in the new audi which scares the crap out of me because it is soooooooo freakin fast and sometimes I can't control myself. So, I must be gentle with the little demon.
Ok, gotta go read Rolling Stone and try not to freeze to death since my dad is anti-heat.
