It's like every time I feel comfortable here and mostly safe about the situation, some other foreigner in the area leaves while screaming "GET OUT WHILE YOU STILL CAN!" on Facebook.

So stressed right now.

It's hard to balance being safe with fear mongering media. And it leaves me all confused and stressed and the cuddles are appreciated.

Yeah, I get that. Over here, there's been a big thing about this guy who is 'predicting' another major earthquake in Christchurch on the 20th. It's panicking people and I have no idea why they chose to give it media attention.

I get the feeling that the Japanese media is fairly level-headed about it, or possibly under-reporting the seriousness. And the western media is blowing it out of proportion.

THAT'S why I don't understand why the media is paying a lick of attention to him. He's not a scientist or anything. Just a whackjob.
