Supernatural Season 6 = Buffy Season 6
Dean = Buffy
Sam = Willow
Cas = Spike
Each season had some standout episodes, but the overall plot was beyond weak.
Each season highlighted the double standards the writers and some fans have when it comes to the actions of main characters (Dean, Sam/Buffy, Willow) and "secondary" characters (Cas and Spike)
Each season had planned character assassination from a writer to a character that they personally didn't care for.
Each season I liked well enough while watching, but by the last few episodes was like ".... are you kidding me?"

Each season had "big bads" that were nothing more than a lead up/red herring to the flip of a character who was revealed as the true big bad of the season.
