For the love of Lululemon...

What an adventure.

Because I'm so obsessed and in love with Lululemon, I went on a nearly 4 hour adventure today, on series of buses, to track down ONE pair of pants. This infatuation with the Grey Ribbed Still Pants started last Friday when I happened to pop into the Robson store and try them on. Not willing to cough up the cash, I figured I would look in the Outlet Centre at Clark and 3rd first. So, today after Chemistry ended at 11AM, I jumped on the 99 and rode to Clark and walked the 6 blocks down to the Outlet Centre. I was the first person in there when it opened and they had the pants, but in black and green and being stubborn, I was set on the grey even though at the regular store, they were going to be over $20 more. So, I trekked the 6 blocks back up to Broadway, got back on the 99 and contemplated my next move. I figured I might as well try the 4th and Arbutus store, seeing as I had already come out and didn't want to go home empty handed. Realizing that the 99 doesn't actually stop at Arbutus, I got out at MacDonald, made a pit stop at the bank (Ally, I have mooooney for you!), ran into Rachel and Christine and continued my journey down to 4th. I walked the 5 blocks and waited at the bus stop. Realizing it probably wasn't going to come right away, I started walking up to the next bus stop. At this point, I realized how famished I was, and stopped in at the Wired Monk (thereby, missing the stupid bus which passed as I was plugging in my pin number...) and got an AMAZING panini sandwich (which, was the best thing of my journey). I figured, since I was already at Larch, I might as well hike up to Vine and see my bus situation there. But, by the time I got there, I figured I was so close, I might as well just walk the rest of the way. After making another pit stop at "The Urban Puppy Store" (oh gosh, I want a Daschund... or a pug!), I finally made it to Lululemon. And guess what? They had grey in every other size and length other than 10 Reg. I tried on the 10 Tall, laughed at myself, thanked the girl and left the store. WHY?! All I wanted was a simple pair of pants. Honestly... And then I got to wait over 20 minutes for the 4 UBC bus... yay, me.

What a day. Did I mention that because I was obviously feeling insane this morning, I decided to wear flip flops? Oh, and I left the vest at home too, thinking I wouldn't need it. The brain power I have is just stupendously amazing. I'm starting to feel my toes again... I think. GAH!
