I don't know how much I was expecting to get for my menu board, but it was more than I got. Comments welcome on how much you think I should've gotten, and if you need a refresher or what it looked like, it's one of my more recent posts. Tell me what you think I should've gotten paid for it if you knew it took me 8+ hours from the first thoughts of planning to the last touch. Oh and hint, I get paid $8/hour when I work. Do the math, if you want. I didn't even get that.
A bit disppointed about that, but oh well. She is just lucky that I wanted to do it. And I did the 1 scoop, 2 scoop etc. board last night at work too. Took me an hour to get it right... the pens are dying though. I don't really care about that one, because I did it on work time (HA!), but the other one I care about. Not that I had anything else better to do that day though. But, I should be compensated for my time. I could've done it faster and made it look like crap, but then I'd have to look at it everyday I'm at work and think how crappy it looked.
Oh well, oh well. I'm looking forward to two days off coming up Wednesday and Thursday. I need ideas of what to do though. I want to head into Van, but my mom probably won't let me. My arm is better, but there are still certain things driving that I have to do one handed because my arm just won't twist certain ways without shooting pain. I might just go anyway. Where to go, where to go? And I'll be alone, which is totally lonely and sad, but.... oh, don't get me started on her. Bah, anyway, 8 hours today and 8 hours tomorrow at Marina's. At least I'll have a nice, healthy pay cheque this time 'round. That part is exciting.
Course rego on Friday. I'm going to be SCREWED if anything is full. I can't move anything anywhere. My timetable is pretty much locked the way it is. And I need to take all of the courses I have on my worklists. I have my fingers crossed though, I'm sure it'll be okay! I'm hopeful and optimistic here, but I'm trying to think ahead if other measures need to be taken.
