Covered in paint, and feeling okay!
Just finished reading Lara's entry and about what poor Mylan is going through. I can't imagine. And, here I am sitting here, thinking about how incredibly lucky I am.
I had a day off today. Went out in the morning with my Mom and lazed around for the rest of the day. I'm about to turn in, wondering if I should shower before bed as I have paint splatters on me. I got a bit bored tonight, so I spread the kitchen counter with garbage bags and painted, while watching Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy and What A Girl Wants, in that order. It was fun. My arm is feeling better, which is nice. I think I feel better because my whole body doesn't ache anymore, it's just my arm now. Yeah, so I painted. Can't say what I was painting, otherwise a certain someone will know part of her birthday gift. But, I found these cute terra cotta pots that we have and tomorrow, I plan to paint those too. Ahhh, I'm feeling so rejuvenated... funny how artsy things do that to me. I guess that that's my escape, my outlet.
I am so lucky. As long as I have one arm to paint with, to cut things out with, to draw with, to click a shutter with, I will be okay.
