long time no see LJ
about a month ago i applied for an internship in the IT dept of a risk management industry leader.
about 2 weeks ago i received a call and had an interview
about 1 week ago i received a call and was accepted for the position
this weekend i ate too much food, hung out with family, saw some friends, didnt see some friends, drank every night, partied, and went bowling.
it was quite the time
i start the internship on Dec. 12th. they are already training my replacment here in data entry. i have outlasted more than a handful of other data enterers, i hope she isnt shitty.
my new job is only part time for now so i have to find another part timer doing "______________" (fill in blank.. i need ideas)
im not so good at doing charity work as i have recently found out!
in a week or two i hope to be back in des moines doing a little work with my tattoo artist. rather him doing work on me.
i will also just be starting my job. im going to bust my ass to be the best i possibly can at this thing. gotta make a career out of it.
in a month i will be in desmoines for christmas, seeing family, hopefull seeing friends. by then i will have gotten a good feel for my new job and hopefully acquired another. we'll see
