Looking through open eyes
I had a moment of clarity today, on the way home from work.
Everything started to make sense... half-sense.
I realized I have been looking at my life with my eyes halfway opened... weeding out the good and focusing on the bad. If everyone did that, we would all be pretty depressed. I was. There are a lot of bad, confusing things in my life, but there are an overwhelming number of good, exciting things also.
In a week I will be not only be done with the fall semester, but also my accreditation program.
Soon, I will be training dogs at my home store, and making commission. Soon my money problems will be over, and soon I will get to take a break. Soon, I will get to speak my political opinions publicly in a play that the director specifically asked me to join.
I am meeting a ton of wonderful people, gaining new friends. I can't walk around palomar w/o seeing and saying hi to at least one person I know. I am involved, focused, and driven. What more can a girl ask for?
