I haven't slept in 4 days and counting. It's becoming unbearable. Any suggestions for 8+ hours of uninterrupted, peaceful slumber? I could really use them.
get some Valerian Root, alcohol free... valerian is a natural herb, it's used as a homeopathic to help with sleep/rest. it can probably be found at like a vitamin shop or organic foods/health foods store. There is also something called "Sleep Now" by NutraMist, it is an oral spray that has melatonin, Restium, and Valerian in it. That may help. if neither of those helps try Melatonin on it's own... it's sometimes used to synchronize your circadian clock to environmental cycles... you can probably purchase it at a health foods store or Vitamin Shoppe. Be careful with Melatonin because, if i remember correctly, you cannot take large doses bc it can be harmful, i think you want to take between 1-3mg, but not much more. I used to have TONS of issues sleeping...bad insomnia for billions of years, etc. and occasionally i still go through my bouts. If you want anymore info/tips for sleeping (i learned a bunch in my psych studies and through therapy, let me know and e-mail me... i feel your pain! shoot me a facebook message and i'll give you my email address or whatever (i dont like giving it out on here).
