(no subject)
Things are going very well in most aspects of life. I still hate the jobs I'm doing, but I don't think that will change until I get a real job in my field or eventually sell out and become a teacher. Not that teachers are sell outs, it's just not something I WANT to door planned on doing.
I've been catching up with old friends lately, which has been awesome, not that I really even have time for my current friends. But, it's been nice catching up and seeing what's going on with people that were once really important to me like Immanuel, James, and fuckin Justin Shenk! haha. Courtney said she would try to come up today and stay through Friday morning, which would be more exciting than talking to any of those fools since she hasn't been up here in like two years (you bum!).
I got a book of Pablo Neruda's Love Poems, which I've read every day... it's sickening, but I LOVE him and his words are so sweet. The woman he wrote them for must have been one well romanticised lady.
And finally, Victor is.. I don't have words. He lets me down a lot, like we'll make plans and he'll cancel them a couple of hours before they're supposed to happen, so Friday (after meeting all of his friends that I don't already know, having a pretty decent time - all of his friends are married, awkward.com - and that second kiss I was so nervous/excited about) I asked him to stop getting my hopes up and cancelling because it's not fair, etc. etc. etc. He told me not to worry about it anymore.
He came up yesterday around 1pm and stayed until 2am; we didn't really do much except watch movies and bullshit with my roommates, but they seemed to like him and sadly I need them to reassure me that it's okay to feel this way about him. I am becoming so dependent, haha. I teased him and suggested he date my roommate Gabe because they seemed to have so much in common and he said, "Nah, I had someone else in mind." I rolled my eyes.
I need a new Halloween costume idea, slutty teacher isn't working for me anymore. Can't wait for Thursday <3
