"Oh, the weather outside is frightful..."

It figures that the snow comes the day after Christmas. I'm not much for the Jolly Yuletide, but a White Christmas is, nevertheless, quite beautiful. But, all in all, I'm happy it didn't happen on Christmas. Who wants to plow on Christmas? And by the looks of the plowing last night, surely the number of willing plowers would have been even smaller had it happened just one day previous.

Yesterday was aggravating. Working at Abercrombie on "Return Day" was insane. There were so many people everywhere, many of whom looked the part of A&F, so I wasn't exactly sure who worked there and who was shopping. Then Matt and I got into an argument in the middle of the store, only strengthening the rumor that we're together. But, whatever. We're fine, I guess. I overreacted a little, but I've been known for that, and it was the wrong day for everyone, I think. But I guess it's nice that he thought it was so amazing. I'm just going to let it die. Jen invited me out to 99 Restaurant with some of the people from work but, of course, I couldn't go because I had no money in my pocket and I knew the parents would want me home in this weather. I wanted to go so bad, but I couldn't. That's why I need an ATM account. I'm just afraid I'd abuse it.

I left Abercrombie at 8PM and finally arrived home at 9:15. None of the roads were plowed, and I had all the 4-wheel-drive fuckers tagging my ass and shooting snow storms at me as they passed. The conditions were the worst on the exits. My maximum speed was probably 35 MPH. For me, that's crawling.

When I got home I had a wicked attitude, but I eventually got over it. On a fortunate side-note, I haven't bitten my fingernails in about two weeks. I clipped them for the first time since I was like six. I was proud, and they now look shorn and neat, not jagged and rough like they were for so long. I also haven't drank any soda for just about as long. Props to me.

I'm on call at Abercrombie at 5, so I'll have to call soon to see if they need me or not. I love A&F, and I have a lot of fun when I work, but I'm kind of hoping I don't have to go in. This will be my only day off until Sunday, that is if I'm not working at Abercrombie that day, too. I have to say good-bye to Kailey because she's going to be in Pittsburgh for 11 days and she has my sweatshirt and I have her gifts. (I'll miss you, Bean! Be good!) Aimee got the first season of THE O.C. on DVD, so we're probably going to watch that later on.

This isn't much of a vacation, so far. But things could be worse. I could be miserable.
