I was just going to explain how ninja would get through the heat, what with their rituals of old and surviving on just the bare necessities of nature.

The hot bath relaxes the body so that when you get out you're more capable of feeling what air there is around you, the chilled cooling cloth is an extra that feels very refreshing after such a thing.
