Went to the firing range yesterday. That Springfield XD .45 fires really... smoothly, I guess I should say. Not as much kick as I remembered, not compared to the PPK/S .380, anyway, which feels (and sounds, even through ear protection) like a goddamn cannon. Odd, that. My shot groupings were fucking decent so I kept the target to hang on my wall later.
I'm still torn on what kind of gun I want to buy when I'm 21, though. I'll be at the range many times in the next few weeks -- anything in particular I should try?
Weirdest dream in a while last night. There was a scraping sound and I opened my eyes to look out the window, which I was already facing, only to see someone looking back at me -- and it wasn't my reflection. It reached out to me, for me, and i choked on a yell and backed away -- but i didn't wake up. I don't think.
Mom insists the goddamn house is haunted, and that was one of those too-weird-to-be-a-dream dreams, if you get my inexpensive business.
