natural building co-op company?
A little fire has got lit in me for starting a nb co-op company here in Victoria. I am meeting a lot of people interested in it and supportive. resources, but not organizing, feel thick on the ground. I am excited.

I am also still unemployed in a city full of a lot of other people who are unemployed. this is less then ideal.

I bicycled over to the Emerging Green Builders meeting last night at the Gorge community center. I road the galloping goose trail home, and passed by a small crowd of kids spinning fire under a bridge. I made small talk with them as they threw flaming sticks into the air, just a few feet from the ocean. I road the rest of the way home feeling contented with living in a city, and arrived home in time to shower, eat, and leave again for the Homospun Transaction dance party. I staffed the ticket table, made a few new friends, appreciated getting googly looks from queers and danced my little ass off. I arrived home at 1:30 am feeling pleased with the world. My legs hurt from biking. My heart is full. the future is good.
