It is sad...in the same way that graduating is sad. It's inevitably going to happen, yet you want to postpone it just a little longer...just to make sure you're prepared for life on the other side.
Personally I'm terrified to read the last book. I'm so afraid of what might happen and how incredibly sad it could potentially be.....
I know! Sometimes when I finish a really good book it almost feels as if I'm loosing a friend...that's weird but it's the best way I can describe it.
I'm nervous about who she's going to kill. I've thought for awhile that she was going to kill off Harry, but I go back and forth on that. Sometimes I think she should and sometimes I think 'that'd be too sad' lol
Yeah. I know what you mean. I'm worried, though, that if she doesn't kill off Harry he'll get "Frodo Syndrome"....or if she were to kill of someone else, what if it's someone so vitally important to him that he can never be happy again??
As much as I want a happy ending for Harry (because I do), I don't know if it is the best or most realistic choice. You know?
Yeah...I remember talking about HP in english...about how it's supposed to be a true 'epic' so if it follows those lines there really won't be a happy ending.
But he deserves it! After she's pretty much tortured him for his entire life(The dursleys before hogwarts...and yes hogwarts was 'torture') I don't know if she's anything like me(but by her journals when she talks about her characters she probably is) but I couldn't do that to one of my own characters.
We also have to keep in mind that they are 'childrens' books...let's keep our fingers cross. I'm sure July 23rd of 2007 I'll have a rant ready lol
Oh I'm going to Borders...it's all inside and you have a ticket that holds your place in line. It was really nice...then again I'm a dork who likes to get hers at midnight :p
