right now I'm in a lodge 2mi from the southern entrance to Zion National Park.

Hell of a view. I've never had a real desire to visit Utah, but if that's the scenery, I think I've changed my mind. How far are you from The Grand Canyon?

google puts it at 103mi and about 4 hours driving from the GC.

Hard to tell from this scale, but you like about the same distance from Las Vegas -- maybe a little farther. How long are you going to be in that part of the world? Alaric and I were just talking about heading back to Vegas. Happy New Year!

I was in Vegas the night before driving to Zion. I'm slowly tracing my way back to boston.
