Nana is back in action Love, Nana-chan

Konbanwa! Nana Here! Happy 4th of July to all of my American readers! The 4th of July is filled of food, parades, fireworks, and celebration of being Independent. (...to all of my non-American readers...) Well, I have done none of these things. There was a parade at 9 this morning but I was to lazy to go to it. My dad decided to barbeque ribs and chicken after I made a desperate run to McDonalds for a Chicken Snack Wrap for dinner. Maybe I will enjoy the fireworks later on tonight. (...or be lazy and sit in front of a computer watching dramas, chatting, or other nerdy things... Yes. I admit to my nerdiness...)

It has been a while since I last wrote. (...4 or 5 weeks, i think...) A lot has happened. Nana has been working at a camp as a teacher. This is my first time as a teacher. It's pretty cool. My class consist of 14 4-year-olds (...they are a hand full...). The camp has two sessions, each being 3 weeks long. There is a break in between the 2 sessions but not everyone gets the break. Some of the teachers work 3 days of the break for what they call "extended week", in which classes are run 3 days after the sessions over because parents need "sitters", basically, until the 4th (...which, for most people, is a day off...). Extended week was stressful. (...that's probably why i was so lazy and didn't go to the parade...) Instead of teaching the 4's, I taught the 3 year olds. I didn't realize the difference in maturity between 3 and 4 year olds until this week. I had 15 three-year-olds. I thought I was going insane! They are so cute but are so attention hungry! (...gee...) I realized how much I enjoy teaching older kids.

Because of the camp, I have been pondering the idea of going back to school after I graduate to become a Japanese Teacher. I would like to teach other kids like me japanese. It seems like fun, ne!?

N E way, ano... Oh! I finished watching this drama called "Bump Off Lover 17". It was so good. It is a Taiwanese drama. If you enjoyed "Lucifer" with Ju Ji Hoon (...swoon...lol...that rhymed...) and like dramas dealing with sex, lies, and murder, this is def the drama for you. It is available on www.crunchyroll.com or on a place I recently found called www.mysoju.com. I highly recommend it.

Other than working and drama watching, I have been budgeting for my possible trip to Japan. Ichigo is going to Japan this summer. (...she told me I couldn't come because I would embarrass her with my loud mouth...) I would like to go to Japan next summer under the Tyler School of Art drawing program of Temple University. Have NE of you done this program or any other Temple University, Japan program before? If you have, could you give some feed back, pointers, or anything else you want me to know. Arigatou, ne!

Before I put this message to a close, have you girls seen Daniel Henney's new Elle pictures? OMG! That is all I can say. The mustache is delicious. http://www.gallery.asianfanatics.net/index.php?act=image&pid=448511&page=1

Another thing, what do the KAT-TUN fans think of the "Queen of the Pirates" album? I was kind of disappointed, to be quite honest. I had such high hopes because the "Don't You Ever Stop" singles were so good. I'm sure the songs will grow on me (...that's how ended up falling in love with Hey! Say! Jump's "Ultra Music Power"...)

Ah! (...geez! I'm never gonna end this...) Have any of you heard of the Taiwanese band Lollipop aka Bang Bang Tang? They are so hott!!! NEway their song "Yes", doesn't it sound very similar to Hey! Say! Jump's "Ultra Music Power"? Here are the links to both songs.

Lollipop "Yes" - http://youtube.com/watch?v=xzdMpG0_bsY

Okay. Nana-chan is going now (...before she says "Oh! Another thing..." again...) Oyasumi!

Love,
Nana
