First Attempt

This is my first draft for the first poem that I have to turn in to my TCXG 373 (Introduction To Writing Poetry) class this quarter at University Of Washington Tacoma (U.W.T.). So I know that it is not all that great but I did tell you all, My Devoted Disciples that I would post the products of this class here on my Live Journal for all to read and laugh at. So if you have anything constructive to say about this please let me know so I can attempt to make it better.

Also remember that I reserve the right to enact the Satan clause of: "All opinions shall be dutifully noted and summarily ignored." If need be.

I will also post an explanation to what this poem means at least or at least the message I was trying to get across when I wrote it tomorrow. Yes I will also include this first draft along with the aforementioned explanation.

Now with that on to the first draft of the first poem.

Judas And His Mistress:

Sitting in a burnt out bar
Taking shots of Ice Blood and
Laudanum

Pay the Devil behind the Bar
With a bag of Teeth from
Her

The Pliers rest heavily in hand
Smoke upon the wind screaming her
Name

A voice of velvet and gravel
Smoke and Mirrors the truth found
Is
