I haven't actually seen The Dark Knight yet because I don't like seeing movies during opening weekend (too many lines, too much potential for annoying hecklers and the like), but in the meantime I've been gathering photos of Maggie at the premiere and whatnot because, well, that's just what I do. Can I say that she looks amazing? Yeah, I think that's the most fitting descriptor because the lady has been BRINGING IT.
Ignore Bright Tie Creep I and Bright Tie Creep II and just focus on the gorgeousness that is Maggie.
OTP!! They're so perfect for one another, I can hardly stand it. But the contrast between the two of them here makes me laugh so hard; she looks so refined and regal while he looks like a mountain man. I hope that the beard is for a role...
Gary, you are too cute! And I love how Chris Nolan's tie brings out the blue in his eyes.
Maggie in this photo = Where every female (plus some males no doubt) with a pulse wants to be. Too much pretty for one photo, I tell you! By the way, is it just me, or is Aaron Eckhart like a Ken doll brought to life? I swear, the hair and the chiseled jawline look as though they were created by Mattel.
Now let's talk about the dress itself. I think it's safe to say that I love everything about it: the pattern, the cut, the length. It's incredibly flattering on Maggie (check out her gorgeous shoulders!), and I don't think she could have made a better choice. Apparently it's a one-of-a-kind Dries van Noten, a designer that was unknown to me until now, that was modified from a look from his Fall 2008 collection.
Of course I'm totally biased, but I prefer Maggie's look over the runway version. The cut is more sophisticated, and I like the placement of the print to the side.
She's also been working other DvN looks for various photo shoots and appearances. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT ALL.
I really like how she's been embracing prints during the promotional rounds for TDK. She tends to wear solids most of the time, and so all of these outfits make for a great change. Some quick screenshots to close up this picspam:
