a gentle breeze passes you by
Man, you guys have made so many entries within the course of 18 hours that it's taking me awhile to catch up on all of it. You crazy lj nerds, you! It's okay, I walk amongst you as well, hah.
Revelle College (one of the smaller colleges within UCSD; think the houses within Hogwarts, because that was the only way I could comprehend the idea, HAH) held Recess yesterday, where activities such as dodgeball, jump rope, and different board games were set up, and Kimberly and I played Connect Four, checkers, and Taboo. She kicked my ass hard in Connect Four, which in and of itself was a sort of blessing because it gave me the chance to quote the old commercials where the boy says, "Pretty sneaky, Sis!" I pretty much love anything that allows me to bust out old pop culture references.
I later went to Jennifer's where I helped her work on one of those 1000-piece jigsaw puzzles because that's the way a college student lives it up, you know. We didn't finish, but that's okay because I'm not overly excited to see the end product, which is a really cheesy-looking painting of three dogs. When I finally left her place at 11:30, I walked past an apartment where the windows were wide open so I could see that its residents were all watching porn. Not particularly relevant to anything, but I just thought I'd share.
I bought new conditioner the other day, and so now my hair is very soft, and it smells pretty nice too. That makes me happy.
Okay, so now I'm off to make soup, and then read for ERTH36 (the class is called Water!!), and then maybe watch an episode of Wonderfalls, which I just bought on dvd because overthemoo has very good taste in television shows and recommended it to me. I bow down to you, Gina!
