I'm having a shitty day
When I woke up this morning, I vowed that this day would suck, and the reason for that is, whenever I say that, the day turns out alright. It didn't work today, though. It's not that anything terrible happened, it's just my attitude towards the day. Aced 2 tests, nothing to be down about. But I was planning on going to Daiso with Hannah, and she had to cancel because of last minute babysitting obligations. I invited GQ to come, but she canceled last minute to be with her boyfriend, which makes sense.
There was a ridiculous traffic jam at Decoto and Alvarado-Niles. They were rewiring the traffic lights or something, so the red lights were blinking. One car at a time at a busy intersection=not cool. Then traffic was horrible coming south down 880. Turns out there was a car accident around Auto Mall. Something about a car accident, it spreads misfortune around. There's the principals involved, who have wrecked cars and injuries. Then their stupid, fucking car accident creates a snag in the road, backing up traffic for miles, making people late for appointments, job interviews, dates, or just simply getting home. And wouldn't you know it, I changed lanes to exit at Auto Mall, and THEN I discovered the accident, and traffic cleared up right beyond that point.
So now I'm here at home, with no plans, and nothing to do, and meh.
