Recent events in the life of this guy:
- Instructor inexplicably fails me for my studio class.
[Confidence, feelings of self worth, etc. demolished.]
- 4-week independent study arranged by head of architecture school as chance at redemption.
[Rampant success, greater understanding of architecture, respect of faculty, etc. gleaned.]
-Manual labor and selling fireworks in Eastpointe.
[Find out I'm good at selling stuff and communicating with people now. Am shocked.]
- Death of family members.
[Makes me think a lot (well, I guess more than usual) about existence of God, afterlife, etc. Finally, reluctantly, admit that existence of either seems rather unlikely.]
- Falls in love.
[The experience is savored and felt as wholly as possible before it falls apart. Am now considering abstention from all forms of sexuality and/or romance for the foreseeable future.]
- Makes great friends.
- Sees old friends, though not as much as I'd like.
- Changing tenses like mad.
- Travel.
- Writing music.
So I guess that's about it for now. That covers most of the last few months, and about the next couple weeks before I go back to school. After graduation I'm considering moving to Chicago, California or Norway. Yes, seriously, Norway. We'll see.
