Thank you so much for signing up, and thank you so much for writing or drawing something for me - I hope this letter helps you work out any narrative kinks or issues you might have while writing my fic!
LIKES
These are just some general likes - I definitely know some of the fandoms I've selected don't fit with these themes, so I've tried to be extra specific with my ODAO in those cases!
* Character studies! Tell me how the character got to this point! How they got PAST that point! The first time they did this thing and if they'd ever do that thing again? What are they like when they're older or younger?
* Quests and adventures: especially when said quest helps the characters figure out something about themselves along the way. I love road trips a lot.
* Romance: I'm a romantic fool, so I love all sorts of silly tropey ship-related things, including baby acquisition fic and road trips. Baby and kidfic is also fun.
* Futurefic and pre-canon fic!
* Casefic and team dynamics
* Well written horror.
* More tropes and aus: Accidental baby acquisition, fairy tale aus, huddling for warmth, kid fic, canon divergence aus, college aus, different first meeting aus, fairy tale aus, historical aus, medieval aus, band aus, magical realism aus, comedy of errors, coming of age, coming out, courtship, crack, crimefighting, earn your happy ending, found families, drunk confessions, fables, family, fix-it (where applicable), ghosts, time loops, getting together, holidays, home exchanges, IN SPACE!, language of love, love confessions, loyalty, polyamory, family dynamics (including exploration of sibling and parent-child dynamics), post-canon, pre-canon, outsider povs, reincarnation, rescue missions, group soulbonds (depending on canon), snowed in, soulmates and soulmate identifying marks, stranded, time travel fix-its, trapped in an elevator, true love's kiss, undercover missions, vacations gone awry and zombie apocalypse.
* Smut Tropes: spanking, anal, threesomes, cunnilingus, friends to lovers, double/multiple penetration, toys, strap-ons, loyalty kink, masturbation/mutual masturbation, pwp, wall sex, porn with plot (depending on plot deets).
* If you know more than one of the canons we match on, I'd love to see a crossover between any of these properties!
* Friendship dynamics and people sticking up for one another.
DISLIKES:
I'll still read just about anything but scat, sex between underage partners and nonconsensual sexual activity that's not plot-driven.
FANDOM: The Adventures of Brisco County Jr.
PAIRINGS: Amanda Wickwire/Crystal Hawks, Amanda Wickwire/Iphigenia Poole, Dixie Cousins/Amanda Wickwire
PROMPTS: I'd just plain love to see some femmeslash in this fandom. The contrast between Dixie and Amanda intrigues me very much - how are they alike? What do they want, and what will they do to get there, together or apart? Iphigenia is NEVER written about in this fandom; imagine her trying to get Amada out of jail when the girl's do-gooding runs her astray. Would Amanda look up to Crystal? Would that cause an imbalance of power in their relationship or would it just enhance their connection?
FANDOM: Alien Series
PAIRINGS: Ellen Ripley/Jenette Vasquez, Annalee Call/Ellen Ripley
PROMPTS: I fucking love Vasquez. Love everything about her. Would love to see how she and Ripley deal with a hostile world Alll of the Alien 3 aus (and Alien 4; Call/Vasquez/Ellen anyone?)! All of the hot desperate "we may die because aliens and your're breathtakingly confident and I love it" feelings. I would love all of the recovery and breakyness with Analee and Ripley; all of the ways in which they are different, all of the ways they're the same, and all of the ways they handle those differences.
FANDOM: Archer (Series)
PAIRINGS: Pam Poovey/Cheryl Tunt
PROMPTS: These two are so patently ridiculous, patently horny and friends almost in spite of themselves. Shove them in a car and find out if they end up making out or killing each other; an au where Pam's the spy and Cheryl's her deadly assassin? Cheryl realizes she likes Pam when she's (ugh) forced to watch over her during her drug withdrawal?
FANDOM: Brooklyn Nine-Nine
PAIRINGS: Gina Linetti/Amy Santiago, Rosa Diaz/Amy Santiago, Rosa Diaz/Gina Linetti/Amy Santiago
PROMPTS: I ship Amy/Rosa so hard. Love the contrast between them, love the way their relationship works. Gina and Amy's relationship is also completely adorable, with their developing closeness. Gina's being Amy's friend in spite of the fact that she sees herself as a loner is intriguing to me, and Gina often encourages Amy to do what she thinks she can't or ought not to. Slumber party hijinks? Missions and cases that go awry? Woozy make-out sessions while trapped in the evidence locker? Gina as Amy's fierce and pushy campaign manager while Rosa serves as her tough guard?
FANDOM: crossovers - Fandom
PAIRINGS: Diana (Wonder Woman) (DCU)/She-ra | Princess Adora (She-Ra: Princess Of Power), Evy Carnahan (The Mummy)/ Annie Knowby (Evil Dead II), Ophelia (Hamlet)/Juliet Capulet (Romeo and Juliet)
PROMPTS: What a wonderful lineup of crossovers; I'd love to see how Juliet and Ophelia, doomed and desperate, might take strength in each other - survivor's guilt and associated healing maybe? I've written previously about Evy and Annie having a mentor/mentoree relationship, something that would likely work out timeline-wise (Evy would be about) but these canons were made for reincarnation and time-hopping shenanigans, so I really want to see what you can conjure up. For Wonder Woman and She-Ra, well, just imagine all of the badass heroics combined with all of the admiration turning to love-lust.
FANDOM: Greek and Roman Mythology
PAIRINGS: Arcachne/Athena; Athena/Aphrodite; Cassandra/Helen; Persephone/Eurydice
PROMPTS: Athena and Arachne have the most interesting rivalry in mythology; how would their battle draw them together? Are there other ways for Arachne to prove her superiority to the gods? Does Athena realize she appreciates Arachne's skills - or is she forced to despair and bargain to bring her back to life, having killed her?
Persephone and Eurydice are, for all intensive purposes, trapped in the afterlife; Eurydice less willingly than Persephone (so they say). Are they their only comfort? What if Persephone was the underworld's queen and she had to charm Eurydice into staying? How do they cope, and does Persephone ever try to sneak Eurydice into the spring or do they endure apart?
Cassandra can see the future; the problem is, no one believes her. Could she stop Helen from spinning the momentous folly of the War into life? Does she fall in love what's behind Helen's beautiful face? Does Helen find faith in Cassandra's prophecies - and is she the only one who believes?
Aphrodite and Athena represent such totally opposing notions - love versus war. When have they battled? Have they agreed in fury or in adoration?
