A new outlook
so, I have a new outlook on all of this down time that has been forced on me. I've been feeling so frustated with not being able to do anything and consumed with guilt for doing almost nothing that I almost missed a great opportunity. I ran into a friend of mine at a friend's birthday party last weekend and when I told her about my inactivity she asked me if I was catching up on my reading, knitting, crosstitching etc. hmmm...I got so caught up in being frustrated that I have wasted time doing things that I can do sitting or laying down. So, using my trip to Oregon as my starting time I decided to do a crosstitch for Piper. Years ago when Tessa and all of her cousins were born I did one for each of them. It was just something that Auntie Lisa did for everyone. So, I found a very cute one for Piper and I'm going to start it up in Oregon. All I have to do is get some different floss colors...I tend to like colors a bit brighter than they recommend. I have a butt load of books, another crosstitch project and some knitting! So, I am all set to be lazy and productive...woo hoo! Oh yeah...and I am going to eat and eat and eat!
