Well, I must say the past 48 hours have been very interesting. Just when you think you know what the future is going to look like, God throws you a curve ball.
Let's start with the beginning of the week and work our way forward.
Monday was the I Love New York finale. Well folks, we all thought she's end up with chance...but instead she ended up with TMNT Tango. He proposed to her on the finale and New York looked like a deer caught in the headlights. She still said yes though...looking forward to te reunion show. I'm sure there were other things that happened on Monday, but none are sticking out in my mind.
Tuesday I went to work at Inakaya and Yoko gave notice for me....haha. She basically said "Rizu, kongatsu yameru deshou" and I didn't object. So basically, no more Inakaya at the end of April...as I had hoped.
Tusday night Dave came over and I made porkchops with fruit topping and biscuits. He made the mac and cheese. We started watching True Romance, Tarantino's first film which can link everyone to everyone if used to play "Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon" It includes a great scene with Christopher Walken and Dennis Hopper..classic. I can see why Dave likes it so much.
In traditional Dave style he ended up staying the night and staying up far too late talking and making comments about TV.
Today I went to school and finally mailed off some cards to people in Japan and elsewhere. Miki, Keiko, and Marko. Class was long and boring, but I had a fun conversation with Baba-sensei. You know, she is the only Japanese teacher I've ever had that I would love to be friends with. She is so cool. It must be cause she is from Kansai.
I'm getting ready to watch American Idol. My prediction for the bottom three tonight? Phil Stacy, Haley Scaranato, Gina something. Sanjaya may or may not be in there....but I don't think so. Can't wait for the results.
Other stuff happened too, but till I get permission to talk about it here, it'll have to wait.
