Quote of the whenever- "The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams."
-Eleanor Roosevelt
Today has been pretty uneventful. I went to yoga with Sarah G, which was good, but really hard because I've been sick the past couple of days and it makes me really tired. But I love the way yoga makes me feel. I need to go a lot before I go to school.
After that I went home and cleaned my room, which really needed it. It's funny... it seems like I just cleaned it, but it has to have been a couple weeks at least. Oops. It's clean now though, and you can actually see the carpet. Amazing.
My mom found this book that she gave me as a joke. It's called "Dorm Room Fung Shui", and it's actually pretty interesting. I don't really buy the idea that decorations can help your... spleen... or whatever, but I think that certain room arrangements can make a person much more unhappy. My room, which I decorated without any knowlege of fung shui, actually comes pretty close to right. I'm not a big pink person, but in the corner where you are supposed to have pink, I have a pink vase and a pink picture frame or two. And in the area where angels are supposed to be a "powerful symbol" I have and angel ornament, when I have no other angels in the whole room. It was kind of fun. Seeing as Chiara, my roommate likes all sorts of Asian things, perhaps I'll bring the book with, and we can fung shui fix our dorm.
Well Amy, I'm keeping up pretty well I think. Two posts in this past few days is more than I've done in... a while. More soon.
Ciao
