I've been watching older GL clips to get a bit more well-versed in the epic history of Olivia and Natalia. So of course, I started with Olivia finding out about her heart condition. And right before she decides to help Alan break up Gus and Natalia, in return for his promise that Phillip never gets his hands on Emma.
Fuck, it's breaking my heart to see Olivia going around to everyone she cares for, to ask them if they would be Emma's guardian if she dies. And either they're too fucked up (Bill), or they're too busy (Buzz), or they are just too young and deserve to have their own time to live their lives (Ava). So she changes her mind and doesn't ask any of them.
And her speech while Emma is sleeping is killing me. How she thinks someone will come to Emma after she is dead and tell her the truth about what Olivia is. That she's a cold hearted, horrible person. And there we go, with Gus watching from the wings, and setting the man-stealing into motion.
I think I'll do my Crystal picspam for sure, now. Could she fucking floor me even more? Christ on a cracker. I'm downloading these older episodes off of YouTube. I'm getting past the feelings of betraying the Jessica Leccia theme of my journal by reasoning that Natalia will be so very present.

Quick question for anyone that is more familiar with the 2007 episodes: Why does Alan want to break up Gus and Natalia? Does he have a thing for her? I mean, I don't blame him if he does (because, VA-VOOM). It just strikes me as the oddest thing. Or is it more Gus related, and he wants Natalia and Rafe out?
