I finished Twilight last night.
OMG, it's like a bad emo song. It's like a written Fall Out Boy song in story form.
While Bella and Edward are totally ridiculous (Srsly? FOREVERRRR?), the rest of The Cullens were far more interesting. I enjoyed Jasper and Esme quite a bit.
Can I just say Stephenie Meyer needs to stop writing about clothes? I couldn't given a damn what light blue shirt and what shade of jeans Bella decided to wear. Did it propel the story? Nope, just bogged it down.
And while I was very aware that there would be a "Do I dazzle you?" line, the word KEPT COMING BACK. So did a lot of words actually (ADONIS, ANYONE?). Either Bella's mind is extremely unoriginal (and Edward really can't hear her thoughts because she's retarded), or Stephenie Meyer needs to get a thesaurus.
I guess the only question now is whether or not I read the sequels. My curiosity regarding The Cullens would be my main motive.
