HAPPY NEW YEAR
Live from my computer, it's the first MarsBlogs post of 2008!
Just for trivia purposes: I totally typed "2006"... O_o
So here I am with extra time on my hands. The time I thought I was going to have before hanging out with some of mah mad crew last night. See, it was decided that we would take the big ol' trip to capital city today after Tane had her tail light replaced. But it would seem Chris has fallen ill. This is why one should not be out chasing fruit juice until 4 am and instead should be getting rest the night before a planned trip. ;)
Instead, I boxed up Christmas.
Have you ever wondered what it must be like to be a Christmas tree? 10-11 months of the year you're stuffed away in a crampy box in the back of a closet or in the deepest, darkest recesses of a basement, brought out and set up in full splendour - beloved by all - only to be thrown back in that damned box when the calendar turns. It's comically cruel.
Hope the New Year treats you well. I will post a bit on what may or may not turn out to be my NYR(s) soon.
