th thing is (and yes i am abondoning puntctuation for this one)that i can't stand bad writing.
mine isn't great- it may not even be that good but it isn't awful. i know it isn't.
i have been away three days, and there may be loads of cool h/d stiff hidden in my faves, but the first four things i looked at were totally utterly crap.
and people lie all over them like "omg, that was awesome"
get over yourselves. noone is that easily pleased.
so i haven't updated my slash in ages. i should by the end of the week, if the fates allow. not that anyone cares.
i know all new talent should be encouraged. i also know that i will never write harry potter slash as well as the folks at shoebox zoo.
but why lie to those who are talentless- offer concrit, of course, but just plain lie????
Maybe my standards are higher than your average.
And sure, im a hypocrite if i post slash and you think im shit at writing and should crawl into a hole and die because my canon isn't canoony enough and i write ooc and my sex is poor.
Fair do's- but the actual manipulation of language must be better than some peoples.
Plus i do this because I enjoy it, i never ask anyone to sqeee over it if its bad. And if its really bad?
