Another Christmas gone by. It always comes and goes so quickly. I don't like that part of it. I think I almost like the anticipation more on Christmas Eve.
Overall, it was great. I managed to get everyone a great present and they liked it a lot. Dad was stoked with the Chuck Norris DVDs and licorice all-sorts. Mom was ecstatic about her Princess Diana book. My brother... well, that's an entry in itself. I really don't feel like bitching about that moron right now. My parents both got some really cool gifts from the relatives and Mom's friends. Dad has $125 in Lordco (Car store) gift cards. Mom got a ton of woman stuff and a few more books. What was kind of lame is that her friend Lynn got her the same Anne Murray book, haha. Oh well, it happens. For myself, I think I did pretty well. I'm glad my parents didn't go too overboard. The Killing Joke graphic novel. Batman & The Joker, /nerd. I read it all today. It's 100x more brutal and amazing than I imagined it'd be. Especially the end. Ah! It's only 46 pages, but it's definitely going to be read over and over.
Heath Ledger book about his life up until he passed away. I was surprised I got this, but it does look really interesting and a good read. I'll probably start it tomorrow.
Vancouver Canucks fleece PJ pants. Extremely comfy and warm! Jimmy Hendrix boxers, $50 gift card to Coles/Chapters Books from my Aunt, assorted chocolates, socks, pair of jeans and I think that's it. Pretty awesome, I think.
I was going to do a massive rant about my brother and his girlfriend, but I think I'm just too tired, lazy and pissed off to put it into words on here. I don't understand how they say they're broke, yet go to a restaurant and tell us they paid $22 EACH for their food (Not including booze) and can't afford to get my parents a fucking Christmas card. They are the most selfish, worthless, backwards, redneck, fucking dumbasses I've ever known. Partial rant, ha. Anyway, I'll probably post more tomorrow.
