11 weeks since I last had an entry? Huh. Doesn't seem that long.
Well, I guess I've been alright lately. I can't complain, really. On Saturday, Doug gave my Dad and I tickets for a Salmon Kings game. Hockey is amazing (Go Canucks), but when you see it live - and it's a pro team! - the atmosphere is 100x better. The Kings are actually phenomenal this year, which is why they are 1st in the Western Conference. The arena was packed, and I had a great seat. The Kings were down 2-0 to the Utah Grizzlies with under 5 minutes to go. Utah took two penalties, and Victoria capitalized on the 5-3 to make it 2-1! I leaned over to my Dad and said, "I bet they tie it up with under a minute to go in the game". So, with 19 seconds left in the game... Ash Goldie of the Salmon Kings tied the game. The place went ape. It was so awesome. Soon after that, it was a shootout since no one scored in OT. Victoria won 3-2 in the shootout! What a game. I haven't yelled and had that much fun in awhile. My voice is still a little hoarse.
That's basically it for an update on things. I don't really do much else except for work, and go to a show on the weekend if there is a decent one. Not exciting... but meh.
