Insignificance

There is truly no one who can stand before the power of C'lsan'ss.

The Giles shell continues to fight me. Irritating, yet insignificant. His will is no match for mine.

Those who have opposed me directly thus far have met with defeat, as it has been written.

I see memories from the Giles, memories of his Slayer champion. He believes she will stand in my way, that she will deny my freedom from my black diamond prison. She has stood before many and defeated them. Some I knew well. Some I had only heard whispers of. Some were beneath me.

She is a warrior to be respected, to be sure. She has fought well in the past.

But she is insignificant next to C'lsan'ss.

The emerald energies housed within the vessel I took from the cattle seems limitless. I must harness it. Absorb it. This power, combined with my own and with the powers within the Hellmouth itself, will cast over this planet its blackest night.

My shells are beginning to arrive in Sunnydale. Some have been delayed still. Delays are insignificant. All that matters is the darkness.

All that matters is C'lsan'ss.
