Wow, I have not updated this in ages... Mainly cos I'm busy - which is unusual enough in itself - but also because I'm going apeshit with FEAR about going to Cambridge in two weeks. I can't believe it - two weeks. I still haven't got round to reading that tonne of paper than my college has sent me but just flipping through it I can feel my brain

I'm still packing!!! Except now I'm doing some HARDCORE packing and have taken up the whole of the living room for my activities. My clothes alone take up a MASSIVE suitcase AND a comparatively small suitcase! I'm also realising how many tops/skirts that I've lost over the years because I can't find them!

YAY! Thanks for all your advice! I am so unthoughtful because 80% of things you listed I have not thought about AT ALL. I can't even find stationary to take down!

How was your lecture? You seem to get hit on by so many guys! Maybe there is some hope for me! OMG maybe I will have an actual LOVE LIFE at uni! Apparently we live in flats so that will be fun... do you share with guys at all?

The next HP book doesn't come out till next year so in the meantime keep me updated on the exciting adventures of Megan Jeffree! ! Speaking of - apparently JKR always comes to a coffee shop in Bruntsfield so I've decided to invest some quality time in that shop in hope that I will bump into THE GOD! Will let you know how my DEVIOUS plans proceed!

I used the whole of the spare bedroom for my stuff when I was packing. Don't think you'll have more than anyone else, most people have brought however much they can physically bring.
One thing to do is to think about everything you use when you are at home and decide whether or not you need to take it. Also, go through your house looking at everything and checking.
I brought lots of paper I stole from school! You'll be able to get stuff there, remember, just at least take a pen.

Lectures have been fine. Yeah, I think this is just because, oh my god, I actually have contact with guys here. Shock horror. I don't actually know if one of the guys meant it like that, he's kind of strange anyway. The guy before, can't remember what I said about him, the first one anyway, he sent me a message saying I was an amazing person yesterday. I have to admit it's kind of flattering. However.
Nope, my corridor is all girls. There are boys floors directly above and below though.
We're about to have a corridor girly dvd watching session. All cramming into one room. Have been discussing lots of nostalgic stuff this evening with a girl from 3 doors down from me. Tunnocks caramel wafers and so on. And I bought more textbooks today, that brings me up to £96 spent on textbooks.

I'm kind of glad I can't be there if you meet JKR. :))) I think you'd be hysterical or something.
Still no HP fans! Or at least, no more devoted than normal. V disappointing.
