Update time, because once again I've been a slacker and had to be reminded I haven't updated in a while. Gotta love it (or not!).
Anyway, home is still the same, we are still breeding drama llama's like they are going out of style. I swear one of these days I'm going to snap and just start bitch slapping everyone who does dumb shit! At least I have video games to keep me occupied (and I'm now on price watch to see when Arkham Asylum starts dropping some in price or hoping it hits Disc Replay soon so I can use my in store credit!). I'm also counting down to the new Ratchet and Clank as well as the new Jak and Daxter game (I am bummed that it looks like the Jak and Daxter game is a PSP port to PS2, which usually the graphics suffer for that). There's FINALLY a tentative release date for Final Fantasy XIII, which I've been looking forward to for over a year now.
This weekend I'm going to switch banks because I LOATHE the one that I'm at. I'll also be one year out from my bankruptcy discharge so I can put my accounts together again (woot!).
Things have been going quite a bit better between Steph and I since we are working out our stress issues (basically we decided we need to run off to a deserted island together and just rough it for eternity). We've been making plans for next spring/early summer. Yep, I'm invading the UK again. We were going to try to go on our first big vacation just me and her, but we both realized the crashing reality that we have no money! So we are going to just spend a couple days in London, then head to Plymouth for some fun (mmmmm, Fish and Chips...). We decided other than one touristy thing (Primrose Hill) we are doing London Steph's way. We are hopefully going to visit a few of the markets and a few other things like that. Granted I'm sure plans will change by then but that's one of the plans being tossed around (I'm sure Ireland is still being tossed around if either one of us get any amount of money!). Though we WILL FREAKING SEE STONEHENGE this time. Dammit!
I was going to have some adorably adorable pictures to post of Willow, but, I forgot my phone wire at home. Even after reminding myself.
A few weeks ago I had to clean my room (tidy up for my Brit readers *smirk*) because we were having a wedding reception at our house. I prefer cleaning after I get off work, and since the dog has generally been sleeping with me lately she was in my room "helping". By helping I mean investigating the area where I moved things. Investigating the dust rag. Sitting in front of me to stop me from cleaning. And at one point just lying down in my lap in protest.
Yeah. She doesn't like change much. I moved all my Super Nintendo cartridges to the floor the other day and those are about to drive her insane.
Yesterday I was sitting on the couch talking to my sister, and Willow being Willow took advantage of her human pillow and claimed her favourite spot. Which is lying right beside me between me and a pillow. I was asked to set some stuff up on the TV so I had to get up and get the remote. I turn around, and busted out laughing, thankful I had my handy dandy camera phone. Willow was protesting me getting up, and in doing so she was standing with her hind legs, her front paws and head were still resting on the couch and she was leaning up against the pillow...staring at me. Once I get the picture that will all make sense, and it's just a reminder of how lazy she is.
During the day if I'm in my room and protesting running the dog up and down the stairs (no matter how many puppy dog eyes and cute head quirks she gives me) she lays in the sun in my room. Then when she gets pissed because the sun leaves she goes under the bed (and there have been more than one occasion, btw, when I didn't KNOW she was under my bed until she imerges out from under it!). While sitting downstairs eating a healthy lunch yesterday (shocking, I know) we hear this noise. It took me five seconds to realize what it was. The sun comes in from our foyer window and shines down onto our dining room floor. But the sun OBVIOUSLY moves across the floor. Well Willow gets pissed and wants to put the sun where SHE wants it. Yep, you guessed it, she scratches at the sun to move it! She can't quite get why everything else she does that too moves but the sun refuses.
I worry about my dog sometimes.
I'm so ready for a vacation though. I'm burnt out big time on work. And tomorrow is going to be annoying since I won't be alone at all during the night. We are doing a release. Boo.
dog,
