drive by update

Figured I'd take a moment to update.

Two weeks have gone by pretty quick, and I'm definitely not looking forward to Tuesday. The only good part is I know I'm going to the UK sometime soon so that works (getting my Passport taken care of as soon as Steph leaves).

Time has went by pretty quick though. I've introduced her to many American places to eat, and she's definitely decided she's going to live here in the future *g*. She also understands why America is the fattest nation in the world, because our food is so damn good!

We went and saw 300 the weekend after she got here (saving for vacation f\\in Boston and the UK so I've been dragging her to work with me. She doesn't mind, I have an endless collection of DVD's). It's a GREAT movie if you love movies that are war movies, or movies just shot beautifully.

Of course after that we went around adding "FOR SPARTA" after every sentence.

Yes, we have the collective age of 6.

I got some cardboard crack while Steph was here and we sat down nerdily to go through all the cards. It wasn't that lucky of a box, the cards fell exactly as the card ratio was. Though I did get one Gabrielle costume card and one Xena/Autolycus costume card. So it wasn't all bad. I now have my nieces birthday present *g*.

The only other real thing we've done other than hang around and bug each other *g* is we went to Mammoth Cave this weekend. It's an easy drive from here, and a big cave system so I knew it would be cool. We got the only available tour. Two miles with over 200 steps. I wasn't tired until we got to the endless amount of steps.

Then we walked another mile to see the River Styx. I did say we were nerdy.

Several pictures that will come later. Even some Silent Hill like pictures that we took in the cave due to all the dust floating around.

Oh yeah, and some making out in the middle of the cave when they turned out all the lights. We aren't heathens or anything! I was now just reminded it was in the "church" section of the cave.

Oops.

When we got back I introduced Steph to S'Mores. She definitely approves. More so when she opted out of the graham cracker and into two pieces of chocolate around her burnt marshmallow. Oh, also introduced her to Long's Donuts, only the best donuts ever. She approved.

I think the chocolate brownie is what won her over.

Last but not least, last night it snowed. Nothing stuck, except for maybe an inch on the car. So guess who geeked out, ran outside and made a snowman on my car.

Three guesses, first two don't count and one of them ISN'T me.

Off to go see another movie!

vacation, steph, update
