it's been awhile
I honestly have no idea how long it has been since I posted here, not sure if I have posted here since before I moved back to Kansas from Oregon. If not, I am back in Kansas now, have been for quite a while. Lately there have been quite a few big changes, I have met someone that is pretty good for me. I wasn't looking for a relationship but I seem to have found one, I never do well with the casual sex thing anyway.
I have also FINALLY got my ass back in school, or at least I am officially enrolled, the financial department just sent me an email saying they need yet more information, from what the website says it's the same info i brought in the other day, so I have to call them in a little bit.
I have also gotten myself my first macbook, I know those people that know me from facebook i have said that I would never buy another apple product after I gave up my iPhone for my first Android phone, but I have, I am also on my second android phone now, an Evo 4G, and they work well together. I did have to bootcamp in a windows install, mostly so I could play Rift, but there are a few other things I needed windows for, also bought a copy of Parallels 7 so I can use most of the windows stuff while booted into mac.... Awsome stuff.
Back to school, now that I am officially enrolled at PSU (Pittsburg State University... Yes I spelled Pittsburg correctly) I am not overly happy with my schedule, I had intended on only 9 hours originally and am currently enrolled in 14, the minimum you need for most student loans is 12 and I was planning to supplement what my FAFSA dosent pay with those so it is all good, I just don't relish getting up at 8am on monday wednesday and friday for Psych 101.
I havn't mentioned this yet but I declared my major as BSA with a History focus, (Bacholars of Science and Arts) I may possibly switch to History in Education, the end i've been mostly considering is teaching but I'm not sure if I would like to teach at the Highschool level or higher, and to teach higher I would need a graduates degree... Ok I really have no idea what so ever what I want to do but I'm getting started. Well that is most of the recent stuff that has happened.
One thing that has been irritating me lately is all the people saying that it's a good thing Bin Laden is dead, while that is a good thing, we should not be dancing in the streets and rejoicing, isn't that exactly what they were doing after the 911 bombings, aren't we supposed to be better than this. what has happened to this country. He was only one man, let us hope he isnt replaced with someone even more insane.
