i leave next thursday!!!
sooo long time no see? haha yeah. figure it's time for an update. i would say a quick update, but they never really end up quick. anyway . . . we last really left off at me leaving for maui, which was a couple of weeks ago.
- maui was awesome. first family trip in a few years and all. we did a lot of snorkling, i got uber tan, stayed at our favorite resort, ate amazing food, went to an actual luau . . . it was a great trip. if you really want to hear more and haven't yet, ask me. when i got home, it was back to work, which was ok because i love it.
- i acutally finished with work on tuesday, and was way sad about it. i prefer being a counselor of the regular sessions instead of a, b, and c. the kids in the last three sessions were seriously weird. i have never been around a group of kids who were meaner to each other or who told on each other more. but whatev. there were a lot of time outs and running of laps so yeah. the last few weeks of the regular sessions were awesome. it was sad though because one by one, a lot of the regular counselors left for school. like when leo and liz and lindsey left, work was actually work sometimes. haha. funny the way that works.
- i've gone bodyboarding a bunch, and i have to say that i love it. i mean, i love surfing, but flying down the face of a wave that close to it and with fins is a whole different kind of rush. haha. good times doing that with syd and leo and mark.
- been to the movies a few times. i've seen "wedding crashers" and "red eye". i liked both of them a lot. good movie. plus, i went with leo, so it had to be awesome. haha.
- been hanging out with mostly leo and syd and mark lately since mostly everyone else is gone. however, if you are still around, and want to hang out before i leave (a week from today), let me know : ) it's been cool hanging out with them . . . especially all four of us together. we have some good times.
- lately i've been freaking out some. i am so incredibly stoked to move back up to school into the apartment with michelle and kelli and megan, but it saddens me to the point of tears to be leaving leo. yeah, i know it is really lame and all, but i can't help it. he says he'll come visit, but who knows. i just start thinking about it, and then over thinking it and yeah. i just found out that he has to work on tuesday, wednesday, and thursday . . . yeah so i'll get see him like none before i go. arg . . . what do i do to feel better? i dunno. i've going to be a wreck for the first few weeks that i'm back. ok. mini rant/freak out over. moving on . . .
- i registered for classes and got my housing assignment. the girls and i are in cerro vista, morro A710. it's on the top floor with a view overlooking the campus and bishops peak. it looks like a good one. the classes i'll be taking are global communication, physical oceanography, children's literature, and food and nutition: customs and cultures. i'm excited about these classes. i'm also excited about kicking ass in them and showing my mom that i'm not the fuck up that she precieves me to be. yeah. go me.
- when i get back to slo, my life will be comsumed by WOW. it's going to kick ass : ) in addition to all the school stuff that we have to do, joey and i are going to be taking our group to the avila hot springs, red hot pottery, kayaking in pismo, hiking bishop's peak, and a bunch of other really awesome stuff that i'm so excited for.
i'm sure that i have left stuff out on here . . . don't really feel like thinking much harder about it though. i'm stressing about moving back and the coming week and stuff with leo so yeah. i just need to veg out in front of the tv. yesss. haha. later days!
