Shafted Snape

Anyone else kinda pissed off that while Harry's Parents, Lupin & Sirius show up as ghosts, and Dumbledore gets a portrait there isn't a single other interaction for Snape after he dies? It seems a bit unkind that he doesn't get to see what that all his sacrifices weren't in vain.

Do you think this was just laziness on JKR's part, or was there a reason for it that I'm missing?
