Dear self,
I'm going to go ahead, and let you not take that soulsuckingly pointless part time teleresearching job (which would eat most of its financial benefit in the gas mileage it takes to get there). But you need to do a few things for me.
First and foremost, take care of yourself. You can artificially inhibit the re-uptake of serotonin all you'd like, but if you don't take a little initiative, you're going to fall into old habits. The day might seem a little easier if you wake up with enough time to shower and drink some coffee sitting down. Wake up with the alarm, and stop abusing the snooze button. Awaking 10 minutes before departure time, shoving legs in pants, and drinking cold 2-hour old coffee in between customers is just going to make you feel rushed and pissy all god damn day. Speaking of feeling rushed and pissy, take some time for yourself and schedule daily exercise. We both know you feel better after 1/2 hour at the gym, regardless of how much effort it took to get the motivation to get there. Just do it. And stop eating all that shitty food. The guilt and indigestion is not worth the taste. Also- admit it. Half the time you don't even taste it, do you? Eating your feelings only leaves you with more feelings to eat. There are healthier coping mechanisms that don't add to your neuroses, or waist. Overall, just be more proactive and find a routine, then stick with it.
Find a hobby. Interneting is not a hobby. Start that journal you've been talking about. Do those writing exercises. Pick up the guitar again. Start that soapmaking thing. Bead. Be creative. But for the love of everything sacred, do not waste this free time. Stop refreshing facebook, and get off the fucking internet. Neglecting cleaning, hygiene, and creativity so you can read and reread livejournal is no longer acceptable. Live or get another job to fill your time.
Stick to a budget. Above all things, this is probably the most important. If you can't pay all your bills on your current salary, there is a really big problem.
p.s. Almost forgot. Stop dwelling on things that you can't change. No matter how many times you replay events and conversations... you did what you did. You can't change that... but you can change how you react to similar situations in the future. Learn, and move on.
p.p.s. this business idea could really work. dont fuck it up.
That is all.
