(no subject)
There is sunlight peering in through the curtains, sending an elaborate pattern of pink light. I love seeying smoke swirl through sunshine in the morning, it reminds me of being in the valley on cold and sunny mornings.
Ive been trying to keep busy and I do have enough to do, but the past few days Ive been really un-productive, curled up on the couch with the cat and NOT doing as I should. its just that all work and no play drives me crazy, and in marseille, there is very little play for me!
We did check out the new pirate themed organic winebar on 7th. The building is really nice and they had a steady playlist of wolfmother, blue cheer and the likes... the wines were excellent, they had a nice coctail menu and their tapas were great. no greasy chorizo, this was more fresh and pleasing to the eyes. oh, and they also had nachos. This is probably the only place in france Ive had nachos (that werent disgusting). After hanging out with the owner for a little, we discover the man actually used to live in San Francisco's Mission district. small world.
The wine bar is called Rackham le Rouge, its a popular expat meetup place and you can find it here
