Old memories
This is the first entry I've ever posted, but today I had a trip down Memory Lane and wanted to share it with friends. When at the Music Dept. at Birmingham University I was lucky enough to room with the Asher's (Jane Asher's aunt and uncle) who loved to have musicians lodge there. Just like Paul in the sixties, I had the top room of the house with the piano. As I was near there today with my two youngest daughters, we went to see the property and the very kind lady who now owns it showed me round and let me run up the two flights of stairs to visit my old room....sadly both the Asher's and the piano are now gone. Nonetheless happy memories remain.
