Oh, I am. Even if he's usually off traveling the world and training on his own, I still taught him how to use a computer so he emails me and gives me tips and advice on how I can continue training on my own!

He believes in me, so I have to believe in me too, right?

What enthusiasm~ I would love to know more about this "Master Ryu" and your goals. Perhaps we should schedule a meeting of some sort? A phone is hardly the proper method of communication in my opinion.
